Lightbulb Testing and feedback wanted for accessibility map of Central Park

The Central Park Conservancy is in the final stages of development of a
Map & Guide of the Park focused on providing information about
accessibility (especially slopes of park paths and stair locations
throughout the park, as well as accessible restroom locations and info about playground accessibility). We are looking for volunteers from the community to help us test a prototype ofthe map before finalizing and printing it. There are several ways to
participate:
1)
By going to the Park on your own with the map and answering a series of
questions (including general feedback/comments) via a phone call or
email*

2)
By meeting Conservancy staff in the Park and letting us tag along with
you while you use the map in the Park

3)
From the comfort of your own home or officeŚreviewing a pdf version of
the map on a computer and answering a series of questions via a phone
call or email*

We expect to have the prototype printed by the 3rd or 4th week in
February, and are hoping to do the testing between then and the first week
of March (fingers crossed that the weather cooperates!)

Those who are interested in participating are asked to email us at
pdc@centralparknyc.org, and we will be in touch as soon as we confirm
when we will have the prototype map & guide ready to test.
Thanks!

Cheers,

Lane
