STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- A comprehensive resource guide is now available to aid Staten Islanders in determining what autism services are available to them on the borough.

The guide, which was compiled by Borough President James Molinaro's Committee on Autism, contains detailed contact information for autism organizations on Staten Island that service both children and adults.

"Finding the right place for autism treatment and services can be a difficult process, but we hope that this handy booklet will help make that journey easier," Molinaro said in a press release.

The free guide will be available at the following autism service providers: On Your Mark, West Brighton; Joan and Alan Bernikow Jewish Community Center, Sea View; Volunteers of America, Tottenville; Seton Foundation for Learning, Grasmere; Eden II Programs, Elm Park; and the G.R.A.C.E. Foundation, Westerleigh.

The guide will also be available at the Department of Education's Parent Engagement Office at 715 Ocean Terrace, Building A, Sunnyside.

An electronic version of the resource can also be found at http://www.statenislandusa.com.
