B.P. Allocates $5M to Build New Autism Facilities
Continuing his efforts to raise awareness about Autism Spectrum disorders, Borough President James P. Molinaro held his first meeting in 2011 with the panel he created last year to help
Staten Island Autism organizations serve their clients. "April is Autism Awareness Month and I urge Staten Islanders to visit my website for information on events and services that are available for the autism community," Molinaro said. The Autism Resource Guide is a first-ever informational booklet which you can download. The SI Yankees will be dedicating a game to Autism Awareness this season and Borough President Molinaro will dedicate one of his Starlight Concerts to Autism Awareness this summer. In addition, the Borough President has allocated $5M in capital funds to support major facility improvements at Eden II, The Grace Foundation, and On Your Mark. Go to www.StatenIslandUSA.com
