Lightbulb Summer Streets celebration-with Some Adaptive Events For The Disabled

In its 10th year,Summer Streets is an annual celebration of New York
City's most valuable public space—our streets. Summer Streets provides
space for healthy recreation and encourages New Yorkers to use more
sustainable forms of transportation. For this celebration, DOT’s Mobility
Management Program will have a table and tent at Park Avenue and 25th
Street. We will be talking to participants about Inclusive street and
public space designs, and accessible wayfinding for people with
disabilities.
There are many, many other exciting activities planned. While most of
the programs planned are inclusive, the following activities at each of
the six rest stops have been specifically developed with the needs of
people of all ages and abilities in mind:
