Default Bklyn DA's Mobile Office helps disabled, seniors

from The Brooklyn Eagle

BROOKLYN — The Brooklyn District Attorney is taking his show on the road to give seniors and other Brooklyn residents easier access to his office’s services. On Monday, District Attorney Charles Hynes officially launched his new “Mobile Neighborhood Office,” a custom-painted Chrysler minivan, and also opened a new neighborhood office in Midwood’s Sephardic Senior Center.

The van will travel around Brooklyn to provide information about services offered by the district attorney’s office, offer crime prevention tips and take complaints. It will function as a neighborhood office on wheels.

“The office in Midwood and the new mobile office are the latest additions to an ongoing program of outreach and education by my office,” Hynes said. “It is vital that the citizens of Brooklyn know that help is available and where to find the assistance they need.”....
