Google seeks people who use wheelchairs in NYC for accessibility video series
Hi everyone, My name is Molly and I'm a video producer at Google. We are
currently producing a video series about wheelchair accessibility around
the world for an accessibility campaign launching later this year. The
video series will follow wheelchair users as they navigate their cities,
giving viewers a look into challenges they might face.
The goal of the series is to raise awareness around issues wheelchair
users face and hopefully to inspire Google Maps users to contribute
accessibility info to the map that could help those who need this
I'm looking for NYC wheelchair users who would be willing to let us shadow
them to get an idea of the barriers the average New Yorker in a wheelchair
We plan to film this next week, so if you are interested in being profiled
and sharing your story with us, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you so much, and look forward to working on this important initiative.
